Who & How: MSME Offer

India Electronics Week has been recognized by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) as one of the events to which they have extended their Marketing Assistance Scheme (MAS). Under this scheme, Indian companies who fulfil the eligibility criteria can avail a subsidy from NSIC for their participation in the event. Here is the eligibility criteria:

  • MSME certificate: The firm should be registered as an MSME (having a valid MSME certificate)
  • UAN certificate holders: The firm should have an valid Udyog Aadhar number

There are special subsidies for the following:

  • Firms registered in the name of women
  • Firms registered in the name of persons belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories

Process for firms on ‘How to get NSIC subsidy benefit for IEW 2018 participation’

  • Firms can book a maximum of 9-sqm shell booth at IEW 2018 under this scheme. Any booth bigger than this, the firm will have to pay for the extra space to EFY at regular rates. Booths having NSIC subsidy will have to prefix the word ‘NSIC’ in their fascia names
  • Firm seeking subsidy will have to download the NSIC Space Booking Application Form to the firm http://www.nsic.co.in/forms/caf012017i.pdf
  • Firm can also download the NSIC support certificate given to the event, here
  • EFY will provide the IEW 2018 contract form to the form along with a letter addressing to NSIC, mentioning the firm’s profile and the order booking rates (On EFY Letter Head)
  • EFY will provide the IEW 2018 brochure copy to firm
  • The interested firm then will need to contact NSIC Zonal office along with all documents and fill the necessary forms there. The firms can also find out there how much subsidy they are eligible for.
  • Once the firm will have the subsidy information available, then a Demand Draft for balance amount will need to be made in favour of NSIC
  • The firm will need to submit all the documents along with the Demand Draft to NSIC Zonal office
  • After 1 – 5 weeks, NSIC will issue a confirmation letter to organizer along with a copy to the firm for allocating the space under NSIC scheme
