Nikhil Maheshwari is the Head of Research & Development in Hindware Home Innovation Limited (HHIL). He is an accomplished R&D professional with over 21+ years of rich experience in Consumer Durable Industry in India as well as other countries. He holds a Mechanical Engineer degree from Delhi
College of Engineering and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Nikhil has pioneered in establishing advanced R&D centres for global organizations. With state of art facilities, nurturing of desired talent & system orientation, these R&D centres are leading Innovation in their respective organizations. His present R&D Centre is approved from Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.

Nikhil is well versed with maintaining the entire Product Life Cycle starting right from Ideation to Technology & Product Development. He is well versed with all the advanced R&D processes like creating Innovation management, TRM’s, NPI, NTI, Design Six Sigma, Simulation based design etc.

He has been recognized for his innovative thinking, strong consumer insights/ trends and in converting real life consumer pain points to practical solutions. He has been involved in over 40+ patents registered and also received a grant of 4 patents as well.

He is presently leading the Industry 4.0 initiative at HHIL and hence developed a very powerful and smart IOT Ecosystem " Hindware Konnect". He has developed a Powerful Eco-System Hindware Konnect comprising of IOT Devices, Cloud, Mobile App, Voice Integration and Web Dashboard to launch
launched one of the largest ranges of smart appliances across various product categories. 

He is a regular speaker on topics around R&D, Innovation, Industry 4.0, IOT, AI, Smart Home and appliances, Digital Transformation etc. at various industry forums including CII, FICCI, PHDCCI etc. Recently awarded by FICCI for initiatives in Smart Products in line with Industry 4.0 transformation.
