About Speaker

Rijin John, a Radio Frequency Engineer by profession and an entrepreneur by passion. He started his career with the telecom giant ZTE and then climbed the corporate ladders through Sasken and Alcatel Lucent. His last assignment in the corporate world was as Research Partner with Bell Labs India, during which he filed two international patents.

He was bitten by entrepreneurial bug in 2014, where he started a venture for managing Alumni Association jointly with his friends. He was part of two non tech startups and an exit. He is a protogant in Harvard, Ivey, Emeralds and Sage Business case studies, taught at leading B-schools across the globe.

In 2020, jointly with one of his classmates who worked with ISRO, he Co-founded Silizium Circuits, a fabless semiconductor IP and SoC startup focusing on Analog RF and Mixed Signal. They are one of the startups that bagged MEITY’s Chip 2 Startup program jointly with IIT Kanpur with a project funding of 5 Cr. In this short span of time, the duo have won various accolades that includes the prestigious Most Promising Semiconductor Startup Award from both IESA and ELCINA. 

Rijin John is also passionate about contributing back to the startup ecosystem. He is the CEO in-charge of Marker Village and CoE Intelligent IoT Sensors in Kochi, Kerala, which is the largest ESDM Incubation facility in the country supported by MEITY, mentoring and guiding 60+ hardware startups.
